The NorthWind company story is about setting a new standard in the manufacturing of industrial/commercial portable and special purpose air conditioners. Although we incorporated in 2006, our air conditioning experience spans more than 70 years. Today, we engineer portable air conditioners with a state-of-the-art plug and cool technology.

Unique Niche Products

Made in USA
Centrally located in the Greater Chicago area, near O’Hare Airport, we produce our line of portable air conditioners in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, at our 11,000 sq. ft. facility.
